Alexis Gholston, AMFT
I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, grounded in curiosity, and sprinkled with humor when helpful. I’m deeply committed to creating a space that honors cultural background and lived experience for those navigating complex intersections of identity, family, and systemic stress. Together we will explore what’s meaningful for you—whether that’s gaining insight into past patterns, current challenges, perfectionism, or moving toward the life you envision. I aim to create a space where all parts of you are welcome, especially the ones you may struggle to accept. Outside of therapy, I love getting lost in a good playlist, playing beach volleyball, and binge-watching shows or movies.
